Our Story
In 1974, George Vatakis and his wife Helen Vatakis transformed their cleaning service into a fully-fledged business. Without knowing what they would create, George was offered a contract by one of his clients and the Holiday Building Maintenance Company 2005 INC was born.
George’s drive, competitive nature and the relationships he built, has led to many clients staying with the company for over 30 years.
Today, their daughter Sophia Vatakis, is President and runs the day to day operations of the business. Along side Sophia, her brother, brother-in-law and husband help manage the many projects.
The family venture has been transformed over the past 45 years into a large-scale successful enterprise that continues to provide their clients with the same service and attitude that George possessed from day one.
Today, amongst our valued customers, the Holiday Building Cleaning Service works with the private sector and the public, from intuitions like Canada Post, Hydro Quebec, Airports, Clinics, the aviation industry, school facilities, grocery stores, retail stores and many more.
Our Mission
The Holiday Building Maintenance Company INC 2005 mission is to provide building cleaning services to commercial, industrial, Government, Healthcare, Education, building, banks and other institutional businesses using the right protocols and best practices in cleaning, disinfection and sanitizing. Our priority is to ensure a clean and safe environment that protects health of the employees, customers, visitors, residents and the community at large.

All of our employees are screened, insured, bonded and trained in virtue of the Health and Safety Act of Quebec.
We are continuously adapting our services to meet industry standards. We now offer new services such as disinfection, decontamination for COVID-19 and surface protection.
